21/07/24 - Version 1.0: Project Release

Summary: Project officially released to the public.

21/10/24 - Version 1.1: Minor Upgrades and Further Development

Summary: Project developed further to support machining aluminium.

Change Log:

​

- Improved strength of Y-Axis Proximity Sensor Bracket.

​

- Added Proximity Sensor Brackets to the main model.

​

- Added Proximity Sensor holes to the relevant parts (008, 012).

​

- Modelled M8 Proximity Sensors and added them to the main model. (Axis: X, Y1, Y2, Z).

​

- Increased size of (008) ballscrew pass-though hole to make adjusting coupler grub screws easier.

​

- Designed a prototype Twin Air Nozzle fixture to use when machining aluminium.

​

- Designed a spindle-mounted Air Tube Support Bracket for use with the Twin Air Nozzle.

​

- Designed Air Splitter Bracket to mount a Tee Splitter (for 15mm Air Tube) to the rear of the Z-Axis Backplate.

​

- Modified Z-Axis Backplate (010) with two additional holes to support fixture of the Air Splitter Bracket.

​

- Added Twin Air Nozzle to main model.

​

- Added Air Tube Support Bracket to main model.

​

- Added Air Splitter Bracket to main model.

​

- Improved positioning of Y-Axis Ballscrew Front Bearing Blocks (002).

​

- Updated the relevant Technical Drawings to reflect all changes mentioned above.

​

- Exported modified Technical Drawings as PDF and added to project files.

​

- Exported newly designed 3D-Printed parts as STL and added to project files.

​

- Exported the updated main CNC Model in all supported formats.​

​

- Added Project Files (version 1.1) to website for download.

​

- Updated Release Notes
